Age of Omnipotence

Omnipotence slid to the side of the roof on Oscorp Tower. Looking down at the civilians scrambling the streets. He sighed and slowly got up with the Avengers preparing to attack behind him.

Trent flew up next to Jacob,charging his uni beam as well.

Ken flies back and charges his Uni-beam, At full blast he fires at the head, Draining all Kens suit power. He falls to the ground due to no power left

Trent does the same,falling to the ground below.

Omnipotence stuck his hand out blocking part of the beam. "Might as well go out with a bang.." He muttered to himself as beams flew past and into his head. It wasn't enough so Jacob shot everything he could, destroying the suit below him. Within a minute, Omnipotence was gone along with Jacob's suit, now in pieces.

Kens suit reverted back slowly as Ken gets up, looking too see who won

Jacob's body trembled as he picked himself up. Sounds of cheering were heard down in the streets as the sky cleared of the portal revealing the night sky.

Trent peeled away his now useless suit,revealing multiple cuts,gashes and bruises.

Jacob didn't stand up to look down at the city, instead he breathed heavily and stared down at the ground.

Kens suit was now Torn with Gashes Cuts and bruises All over, he looked down to the cheering people, giving a small wave

"Noelle" I say surprisingly as I remember what happened. I sprint into the tower

Jenny rose to her feet, sore from her fall, bruised and cut up. "I missed all the fun didn't I," Jenny surveyed the roof,"And you used the suits without me too!"

"You were too slow" Ken smirked, trying too hide the thought of loosing a member

Jacob pounded the ground before standing up.

I kneel beside a still Noelle, crying a little bit

Jenny gave a confused look at Jacob,"Well, what's up with him? Shouldn't we be celebrating?"

Ken stared at Noelles body "I don't think we should... Not right now..." he said. slowly

"We failed.. I failed.. That's what's up." Jacob replied without looking up.

"We beat him, or you guys beat him at least," Jenny said thinking he must've been frazzled by the battle. "C'mon let's meet everyone else back at the tower," She continued, walking to the stairs.

"Lets go Jacob" Ken said, facing the doorway

"No, no.. It's happening again.." Jacob muttered to himself, still on the roof, he was partially glad there weren't any more casualties but he still lost someone, his mind flashed back to the first time he was back in Afghanistan but luckily, Jacob stopped thinking about it.

"You coming?" Ken asked, about to leave

"Yeah, I'm fine, I mean yeah, I'm coming." Jacob started and followed after Ken.

"I'll just meet you guys there," Jenny took the stairs two at a time and walked as fast as she could down the block to the tower.

Jacob calmed down until he saw Jenny hop down the stairs. He shook his head thinking about what her reaction would be when she got back to the tower.
